Q: How do I get my program accredited with NFI CEUs?

Q: Who will assign the CEUs to my program?

Q: How does the CEU Committee determine how many CEUs my course will receive?

Q: What are the most CEUs that my program can receive?

Q: Do I have to submit my course every year for CEU approval?

Q: How will I know how many CEUs my course has received?

Q: What am I responsible for at the program?

A: The instructor and/or course sponsor are responsible for ensuring that NFI Certified participants:

  1. Sign in and sign out for the program. NFI will provide a standard attendance sheet upon request. Only those participants who are NFI Certified should sign the CEU Sign-in sheet.
  2. Monitor the comings and goings of attendees. Aside from a short restroom break, participants are required to be present for the entire duration of your program. If leaving for a break, they can only be gone for five minutes, and then they must be back in their seats.
  3. Notify NFI of all attendees. After the sign-out process has been completed at the conclusion of the program, the sponsor must verify that the attendance is correct with a signature and then fax the paperwork to NFI. Once NFI receives attendance confirmation from you, NFI will post course attendances under each NFI Specialist’s online account.
